The most awaited battle between the four maritime schools is again around the corner. VINTERSPELEN/WINTERGAMES 2019 is held this year in Kalmar Sweden and we want you to join in!
So, what is Vinterspelen?
Vinterspelen is an annual competition between four nautical schools (Turku, Åland, Göteborg, Kalmar) held alternately in the studying cities. This year the games takes place in Kalmar including more or less serious competiting and fun associating with other students. You are not going to forget about adequate hydration balance during the games either. The winner of the games are announced during a fine dining dinner (suit up) and the winning team has the honour to carry the Great Propeller home.
We are going to start the trip together with a ferry to Stockholm from Turku on thursday 28.3. From stockholm we continue the trip with a train to Kalmar.
The price of the event is about 100e/person (Depending on ferry ticket discounts etc.) including:
2 nights in a hotel with breakfest
A fine dining dinner on saturday
Travel expenses
Fun at games and great company!

29.3. Games at day time, Pub later
30.3. Games continues. Dinner and announcing the winner. +Afterparty
31.3. Try to get ourselves home securely (Train and ferry)
